This policy explains what InstaGrab collects when you use instagrab.download, why we collect it, and how advertising on the site works. InstaGrab does not ask you to create an account.
Information you give us
You can use the downloader without an account. If you use the contact form, you choose what to send. That can include your name, email address, a topic, and your message. The form opens your email app and sends the message to us.
Please do not send passwords, Instagram login details, payment details, or other sensitive information.
Links you submit
When you paste an Instagram link, we send that link to our service so we can fetch the public post and offer the file. You should only submit links you are allowed to use.
InstaGrab does not ask you to sign in to Instagram, and it cannot open private posts.
Technical information
The servers that host InstaGrab receive ordinary technical information when you visit. We use it to run the site, limit abuse, and fix problems. We do not build a profile of you from it. Our own logs record a status code and how long a request took, not the link you pasted.

Cookies and advertising
InstaGrab does not set its own cookies to remember you. The language of a page comes from the web address.
We show ads with Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, measure them, and remember whether you have seen an ad. Some ads may be based on your activity on this site and other sites. You can control or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies can affect ads. We also use Google Analytics to measure visits. Google may set cookies and receive technical information such as your IP address, browser, and the pages you open.
Other services
Cloudflare hosts InstaGrab and processes technical data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
When you submit a public Instagram link, our server requests that public page so it can find the file. Instagram and Meta are separate services. Their privacy rules apply to them.
The contact form uses your own email app. Your email provider handles that message under its own rules.
How we use information
We use information to do the following. We do not sell personal information.
- Fetch the public post you asked for
- Reply if you contact us
- Limit abuse and keep the site available
- Show and measure ads
- Measure visits to the site
- Fix errors and keep the site working
How long we keep it
There is no InstaGrab account to store your details in.
A successful result may be cached for a short time, about ten minutes, so the same public link can be answered again. That cache is stored by the link, not by your name.
Your IP address is used for a short time to limit how many requests one address can make.
Emails you send us are kept only as long as we need them to reply and deal with the request.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to some uses. To ask, use the contact page and choose Privacy. We may need to confirm that the request is yours.
Children
InstaGrab is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
